Investigate American artists from the nineteenth to the twentieth century with works by John Singer Sargent, Mary Cassatt, Elizabeth Sparhawk Jones, Gaston Lachaise, Diego Rivera Ivan Albright.

CHANGING VISIONS: BROKEN UP AND REARRANGED
Compare Picasso's multiple views of women, Chagall's mysticism, Natalie Goncherova's patterns and the psychological works of Dali and the Surrealists.

CONTEMPORARY PERSPECTIVES: PASSION, POLITICS, MISFITS
Discuss paintings, video, photography, sculpture and mixed media works including Ana Mendieta, Barbara Kruger, Ed Paschke, Tomas Schulte, Alice Neel and Gerhardt Richter.
