Private Collection: Esther Saks, May 15

Visit the north side home, overlooking parkland and the lake, of a collector with a very eclectic and fine collection of sculpture, paintings, ceramics and ethnic jewelry emphasizing material and texture manipulated by the hand of the artist. As a dealer in ceramic art for fourteen years, Esther had a major impact on educating and developing an audience for this art form.   Accumulated over a lifetime of private collecting, the artworks are representative of the aesthetic of Saks’ former gallery.
