River North Galleries, May 18Order Enquiry
Consider time, place and cultural history on today’s tour. At Martha Schneider Gallery, we’ll view invented historical dramas in digitally manipulated photographs by Martina Lopez. We’ll also see Mel Keiser’s photographs including self portraits expressing surreal identities. At Perimeter Gallery, we’ll see Don Pollack’s oil paintings that mix beautiful landscape images harkening back to the nineteenth century with reminders of cultural history. Then, we’ll view atmospheric landscapes by Terri Zupanc at the Jean Albano Gallery. We’ll conclude at the Carl Hammer Gallery with inventive sculptures by Aristotle Georgiades who reconfigures everyday objects to give them new purposes.
Meet at Martha Schneider Gallery, 230 West Superior St., Chicago (entrance on Franklin St.)
