Art Encounter Travel
Since 1987, Art Encounter has offered over 85 specially-curated art travel experiences, including visits to more than 60 cities across 15 different countries and five continents. Our diverse list of past trips includes domestic destinations such as Northern California, Miami, and Seattle, as well as eight trips to New York City and 11 trips to Sante Fe. Our international excursions have brought travelers to over 15 cities across Europe and as far as Argentina, South Africa, and Vietnam, to name just a few. Since the year 2000, we have traveled to Cuba 13 times!
Our travelers are immersed fully in the art and culture of each destination through otherwise-unattainable access to private collections, artists’ studios, galleries, and more. Throughout each trip, our knowledgeable and experienced trip leader–Art Encounter's very own Co-founder and Artistic Director Joanna Pinsky–engages participants in active dialogue as they enjoy an array of unique art experiences paired with sightseeing and authentic local cuisine.
